SINGER 222 222k Featherweight Sewing Machine w Carry Case & Accessories110v. For your consideration is a Singer 222K Featherweight free arm sewing machine. Serial #EJ918026, manufactured in 1954. This machine was made for the Canadian market, it has its original 110v motor so no transformer is needed. It is a very clean machine with a glossy finish, but it does show some signs of age. It has typical needle scratches on the bed and also very fine crazing which is visible under bright light. The decals have wear along the front as shown. Perfect machine to actually put to use without being worried about causing a blemish. This machine has been cleaned, oiled & tested – It runs strong & smooth and sews a nice stitch. Light works, bobbin winder functions – The bed retaining thumb screw is a replacement. The rubber feet could use replacement. The carry case is in good solid condition with typical wear, the fabric hinge was torn so it has been removed – Free from odor. This 222K comes with the following accessories. Singer box containing 6 Simanco feet – Ruffler, adjustable hemmer, hemmer, gathering foot, edge stitcher and binder, plus a seam guide. Large & small Singer screwdriver. Original bakelite foot pedal, cords are in excellent condition. Original Simanco bobbin case & 8 bobbins. Original 222 instruction manual – The manual is very worn with loose pages, but still usable.
