PFAFF 130-6 Sewing Machine with many Attachments in PFAFF Tin Container, , Original PFAFF 130-6 Instruction Book, PFAFF “Dial -A-Stitch” Instruction Book. Serial number 5-119-859 made in Germany. In good sewing condition, Has the orginal light that works that has made in germany on it. The machine does have marks on it expected from age. The cord plug was replaced and few tiny knicks out of cord where tape is. The case has some wear but holds machine fine. It came out of an estate were an elderly lady used it. Still has thread in bobber. It includes the powerful PFAFF 1.3 amp motor. This will sew leather, vinyl, sail material, Sunbrella, canvas and many other types of fabric. It includes the following items. Original PFAFF 130-6 Instruction Book. Original PFAFF Dial-A-Stitch Instruction Book , pfaff orginal metal container, pfaff orginal oil bottle with oil in it, and lots of other parts. The PFAFF 130-6 is a high-performance straight/zig-zag sewing machine, and it is still used widely by serious sewers who appreciate classically-built machines. It saw many industrial uses in its early days, and was used by many professional tailors and seamstresses. The 130 came about in 1932, but didnt reach American shores until much later. It didnt make it to American shores until after World War II. Though it is very heavy by todays standards, the 130-6 was a high-speed and high-performance portable machine, used widely by the Merchant Marines after WWII because it was very effective at mending sails. Because of its versatility and popularity, it was known as the universal tailoring machine. Overall, the PFAFF 130-6 is one of the most important sewing machines in history.
