Singer 222K Featherweight free arm sewing machine. Serial #EK628925, born in 1955 – Made for use in Canada, so it has the original 110v motor. This machine comes with its original receipt! You can tell this machine has been loved and well taken care of over the years. It is a very clean machine with a shiny finish, but it does show some signs of use. It has typical needle scratches on the bed which are visible under bright light such as the work lamp and the decals have light wear on the front edge, oddly the Singer decal on the light shroud also has some wear – See last pics. It runs strong & smooth and sews a nice stitch. The foot pedal and cords are in overall very nice condition, but it looks like the cord was pinched in the lid as so many are and the insulation was cut through in one spot – Still usable with electrical tape in place. The carry case is in excellent condition with only very minimal wear, odor free. This 222 comes with many accessories, all original to this particular machine. The following items are included. Box containing 6 feet – Ruffler, adjustable hemmer, hemmer, gathering foot, edge stitcher and binder, even includes the original packing slip. Large & small screwdriver. Original receipt & sales contract from 1956. Button hole attachment in case with extra cams. Automatic zigzagger attachment and extra cams in box – Most likely the one that is listed on the original receipt. Original 222K instruction manual – The cover and a page or two have come lose but still functional.
